Clean up your PC with Gaviri Universal SearchOS

File type search in combination with file operations can help you organize your files. 

A search for a specific file type, say "ext:obj", will list all the documents with filenames ending in .obj. You may then use the search results list to select any files you want and perform different operations on them, Copy, Move, Delete, Rename.

For example, if you are a programmer, you sure have tons of object/project files from all those projects or tests. Gaviri Universal SearchOS can help you clean up hundreds of megabytes of space just in a few seconds. 

To remove all the object (*.obj), and project database (*.pdb) files from your old projects you may run the search "ext:obj OR ext:pdb" from basic search, or use Advanced Search. 

When you have all the files listed, simply right-click on the results list, and "select all", then right click again, and select "Delete." All selected files will be deleted.

You may use this technique on any file type.
